Discriminated against for centuries, India’s Dalits, or “Untouchables”, today enjoy constitutional rights. The Dalit Panthers, a group inspired by the US Black Panthers, was created to protect the community from enduring prejudice.

Amazing stuff God is doing in Kurnool, India. We went there to minister to the Dalits of India, also unknown as the “untouchables”, the lowest caste in Hindu society and a group that really needs God’s love. Here’s a little video of some of the things that took place then.

For generations they have lived at the bottom of Indian society, Casteless, Untouchables, they call themselves Dalits. The Dalits were traditionally restricted to their position by birth, a fate that was all but impossible to escape.
